La Selva Move is designed to develop projects of training, creation, and exhibition of cinema with local impact. In other words, making cinema a tool for reflection and sociocultural transformation that generates citizen involvement, participation, and responsibility.
It is an alternative network of training, creation, and exhibition where the risky point of view that challenges us to reinvent ourselves are made accessible to new audiences. To bring cinema to unconventional spaces by decentralizing it and taking it to neighborhoods and locations eager for new windows to the world.
With La Selva Move programs we want to bring independent filmmaking to the public with less access. In our programs, we seek to link cinema and the arts in general into a dialogue in the exploration of the surroundings.
What do we do?
We generate film training projects to encourage critical and sociocultural development and to learn other ways to understand and organize the world.
We generate exhibition programs to involve communities with their environment and generate critical reflection.

MÁSTER CLASS WITH LUCRECIA MARTEL IN CCCB
In alliance with the L’Alternativa Festival and the CCCB, La Selva. Ecosistema Creatiu offered to the public of Barcelona a Master Class with the renowned Argentine filmmaker in the framework of the 2019 Film Accelerator.
Lucrecia Martel shared with the more than 350 attendees a deep and intense talk about his cinematographic method and his only vision about cinema and sound.

Workshop for boys and girls: Discovery the cinema through Stanley Kubrick
The cinematographic art and the special effects: two workshops for the little ones.
Públic: children between 5 and 12 years old accompanied by an adult.
WORKSHOP OF CINEMATOGRAPHIC ART
What implies to do a film? This workshop bring the cinema to the kids with Stanley Kubrick as referent. His films are famous for the special effects and for the meticulous art work. We will do makeup, costumes and masks with recycled material to characterize ourselves as Kubrick´s characters.
WORKSHOP OF SPECIAL EFFECTS:
Once we have characterized, we will see ourselves in Kubrick´s scenographies using special effects (chroma key). In this workshop we could see what can be done on a set: float in space or appear in the middle of a room.
